Ecasound is a software package designed for multitrack audio processing. It can be used for simple tasks like audio playback, recording and format conversions, as well as for multitrack effect processing, mixing, recording and signal recycling. Ecasound supports a wide range of audio inputs, outputs and effect algorithms. Effects and audio objects can be combined in various ways, and their parameters can be controlled by operator objects like oscillators and MIDI-CCs. A versatile console mode user-interface is included in the package.
The primary platform for running Ecasound is GNU/Linux. Ecasound can also be run on many UNIX-derived systems such as FreeBSD, Mac OS X and Solaris. Limited support for Windows is available through Cygwin.
Matchering 2.0 is a novel Containerized Web Application and Python Library for audio matching and mastering. It follows a simple idea – you take TWO audio files and feed them into Matchering:
TARGET (the track you want to master, you want it to sound like the reference)
REFERENCE (another track, like some kind of “wet” popular song, you want your target to sound like it)
Our algorithm matches both of these tracks and provides you the mastered TARGET track with the same RMS, FR, peak amplitude and stereo width as the REFERENCE track has.
Transfer your old records and tapes to digital. Wave Corrector offers an integrated solution to record, clean-up and convert your music to digital audio formats. The program uses advanced digital processing to remove noise from old analogue recordings. Files can be transferred to CD or stored in your digital audio library. The program runs on the Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 platforms and on LINUX under Wine.
The “epicVerb” reverberation device aims at both tight small room and ambience effect simulation well suited to modern drum and vocal productions up to large “epic” halls as known from high quality outboard gear. This reverb’s sound ranges from rather concrete or even edgy up to smooth, transparent and artifact free reverb tails. It is designed for maximum flexibility and usability, and to take place as a true high quality stereo main reverb.
“epicVerb” features two different reverberation modes and six different stereo early reflection models. There are some standard reverb controls like ‘TIME’, ‘DAMP’ or ’PRE-DELAY’ as well as reverb tail modulation and detailed control over very first reflection patterns as an option. It offers different reverb time handling for high and low frequencies as well as a musical sounding EQ section containing two “BootEQ” equalizers and additional high- and low-pass filtering.
Specs and requirements:
PC / VST compatible
SSE and Assembler optimized sound engine
State-of-the-art digital signal processing
Smooth reverb tail processing without any ringing or metallic sounding artifacts
Different reverb and early reflection modes for maximum flexibility
This is the community version of Element, a modular AU / LV2 / VST / VST3 audio plugin host. Create powerful effects, racks and instruments by connecting nodes to one another. Integrates with your existing hardware via standard protocols such as MIDI.
The Audio File Library is a C-based library for reading and writing audio files in many common formats.
The Audio File Library provides a uniform API which abstracts away details of file formats and data formats. The same calls for opening a file, accessing and manipulating audio metadata (e.g. sample rate, sample format, textual information, MIDI parameters), and reading and writing sample data will work with any supported audio file format. The Audio File Library lets you work with audio data in whatever format is most convenient for you.
This is an OpenGL bars visualization plugin (as seen in XMMS and XBMC/Kodi). It’s adapted from the jack_glbars project by Nedko Arnaudov. glBars works as a JACK standalone and audio plugin (LV2 or VST).
Dexed is a multi-platform, multi-format plugin synth that is closely modelled on the Yamaha DX7. Dexed is also a midi cartridge librarian / manager for the DX7.
Features:
Multi platform (OS X, Windows or Linux) and multi format. (VST, AU, LV2)
144 DAW automatable DX7 parameters available from one single panel.
Fully supports DX7 input and output Sysex messages; including controller change. This means that you can use this with a native DX7/TX7 as a patch editor and sysex manager.
Each operator has a realtime VU meter so you know which one is active.
Can load or save any DX7/TX7 sysex programs. It is also possible to save a single program into a different sysex file.
Demlo is a music library organizer. It can encode, fix case, change folder
hierarchy according to tags or file properties, tag from an online database,
copy covers while ignoring duplicates or those below a quality threshold, and
much more. It makes it possible to manage your libraries uniformly and
dynamically. You can write your own rules to fit your needs best.
Demlo can address any of these recurring music library issues (and much more):
Fix the lack of folder structure.
Normalize tags, fix their case, chose which tags to keep and which to discard.
