DCue ~ Discogs Cue Sheet Generator

DCue is an open source command line tool for creating audio cue sheet files using the massive release database at Discogs. DCue is available for both Windows and Linux and is written in C++ with no external library dependencies. It has a very simple command line syntax and creates human-readable and universally compatible cue sheets (.cue files). It also supports the automatic creation of multiple cue sheets for multi-disc albums in an intuitive way.

rePhase ~ Loudspeaker Phase Linearization

rePhase is a FIR generation tool for building fully linear-phase active crossovers with arbitrary slopes.

It also let you manually compensate for the phase shifts of your loudspeakers and existing crossovers, be it active or passive.

Once generated, the FIR can be applied using any hardware (openDRC, miniSHARC, Najda, …) or software (foobar, convolver, JRiver, …), stereo or multi-way convolution engine.

Enhance the appearance and functionality of Foobar2000 by adding a visual waveform representation of the currently playing audio track, which can be used to navigate to any point in the image of the track by clicking there.

Waveform Seekbar is a UI element for both the Default UI and Columns UI that provides seekbar functionality (seeking, position indicator) on top of a pretty image of the waveform of the currently playing song, drawn using either Direct3D 9.0c or Direct2D 1.0.

Meson Player is a very convenient music player if you don’t need a GUI to control playback or manage playlists. You just run it and then forget about it. The player runs in the background. Switching tracks, volume control, loading and saving playlists, all of this is performed by using hotkeys, therefore you can control the player while working in any application.

Meson Player supports gapless playback, Last.FM, a lot of music file formats (stream and tracker), Internet radio and playlist management.

CreateM3U ~ m3u Playlist Creator

Drag & drop files or folders to create .m3u playlists. For each folder, a single .m3u file is created named after that folder. It will not replace already existing playlists of that name. The generated playlists do not contain EXTM3U information because a simple .m3u is nothing more than a text file with a list of file names per line. The initial tool for this task for me was a batch file. 😉

As the generated playlists only include filenames without any path, and they are located with the media files, they can be moved together with the files, as an example, for portable mp3 player usage.
