Multitone Analyzer is an app designed to explore audio electronics performance by producing quick measurements using a simple loop-back configuration. MA produces a specific set of test tones that are sent to a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that are then passed through one or more analog components and then received by MA and analyzed. MA both, plays the signals and records them for analysis. DAC and ADC are required for this to work.
Measurements that MA can produce: TD+N, IMD, N+D, delay, clock drift, frequency response, etc.
Audio support for WASAPI, ASIO, and Direct Audio devices with sampling rates of up to 384kHz/32 bits
Test signals: arbitrarily large multi-tone signal, simple sine waves, two-tone IMD test signals, 3-tone IMD test signals, square wave, triangle wave
FFT sizes of up to 1M
For distortion measurements a range of frequencies to measure can be selected
OBPlayer is a stable and secure UNIX-based media streaming playout application that can operate as a standalone player or controlled over a network by a managing OBServer. It can be installed remotely at a transmitter site, in the studio or as multiple virtual headless processes.
OBPlayer is built with rules based intelligence to continue broadcasting no matter what happens. It functions by continually syncing with OBServer, looking for updated schedules, media, and priority broadcasts. If there is a blank spot in the schedule, it falls back to a Default Playlist. If that fails, it goes into Fallback Media Mode. If that fails, it plays from the analog input bypass. Finally, it will play a test signal as a last resort. OBPlayer will always play valid CAP (Common Alerting Protocol) Alerts at the highest priority.
OBPlayer can be run in a variety of configurations:
Headless OBPlayer (CLI Process)
LIVE Assist with Mobile HTML5 Touch Screen interface
GTK desktop application for a Digital Display and output to CATV
Standalone Emergency Alerting CAP Player supporting audio, image and video
Support For IPAWS CAP Profile Version 1.0 via Alert-Hub
OpenBroadcaster focuses on reliability, accessibility and scalability over a having a bloated range of half baked / buggy features. It has an organic AJAX interface built with Gstreamer, HTML5 and Javascript to deliver a web application in support of broadcast radio and TV automation, media asset management and dynamic community programming. One OBServer may manage one or more OBPlayer in a synchronized network configuration or have the server and playout on one device or VM. There is a robust Plugin Module Architecture with many modules extending the core server application. The server has a Documented API to enable sharing digital media assets and metadata with revocable secure keys.
The PC based Soundcard Oscilloscope receives its data from the Soundcard with 44.1kHz and 16 Bit resolution. The data source can be selected in the Windows mixer (Microphone, Line-In or Wave). The frequency range depends on the sound card, but 20-20000Hz should be possible with all modern cards. The low frequency end is limited by the AC coupling of the line-in signal. Be aware, that most microphone inputs are only mono.
The oscilloscope contains in addition a signal generator for 2 channels for sine, square, triangular, sawtooth wave forms and different noise spectra in the frequency range from 0 to 20kHz. The signal can be defined by a mathematical formula as well. The signals are available at the speaker output of the sound card. These can be fed back to the oscillocope in order to generate Lissajous figures in the x-y mode.
Features:
Trigger modes: off, automatic, normal and single shot
Triggerlevel can be set with the mouse
The signals of the two channels can be added, subtracted and multiplied
x-y mode
Frequency analysis (Fourier spectrum)
Waterfall diagram (frequency spectrum as function of time)
Frequency filter: low-, high-, band-pass and band-stop
Cursors to measure amplitude, time and frequency in the main window
Audio Recorder to save data to a wave file
For multi soundcard system, the used card can be selected in the settings tab
This project provides an open source MacOS v10.14, v10.15, v11.6 (Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur) compatible CoreMIDI 64 bit device driver for M-Audio’s MIDISPORT range of USB MIDI interfaces. This driver supports the following devices:
MIDISPORT 1×1
MIDISPORT 2×2
MIDISPORT 4×4
MIDISPORT 8×8/S
Oxygen 8 Keyboard
Other devices which are compatible may also work, although presently, these are the only ones which have been tested.
A portable MP3/WMA/OGG/FLAC file manager for Sony players. Simply copy it on your usb player and use it wherever you are! It is an alternative to SonicStage. (Was NW-E00x Mp3 File Manager…)
Welcome to Speaker Impedance. This website calculates the nominal impedance created with different combinations of wiring speakers together. Remember calculations are only to be used as a guide; in reality, the impedance will vary with frequency and more factors such as coil temperature come into play.
A handy little tool which provides all the information about measure, time, sample count etc that most hosts usually hide somewhere in a tiny little part of the screen. Transport is resizable and you can pick your own colours. Ideally, you’d drag it onto an external monitor in your 1000 square feet wooden studio and make it fullscreen so that your recording artists always stay oriented, but it works in smaller settings as well ;-). Made upon request by a DDMF user, we thought this gem is too good to not make it available for everybody. Transport is available as a 32 and 64 bit plugin in VST, RTAS, AAX (Win + Mac) and AU (Mac) format. MacOSX 10.6 is required.
A collection of programs for audio measurements and analysis in acoustical and communication systems. ARTA software uses standard and professional PC sound cards for audio signal acquisition and generation.
ARTA software consists of following programs:
ARTA – program for the impulse response measurement and for real-time spectrum analysis and frequency response measurements. STEPS – program for frequency response measurements with stepped-sine excitation. Simultaneously with a frequency response measurement the program estimates levels of 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and higher order harmonic distortions. LIMP – program for the loudspeaker impedance measurement and loudspeaker parameters estimation.
ARTA has functions of the following measurement systems:
Signal generator of following signals: white noise, pink noise, periodic white noise, periodic pink noise, speech signal, sine, two sine, multitone, triangle, square.
Impulse response measurement system
Single and Dual channel Fourier analyzer
Spectrum, octave band and THD analyzer
Triggered storage scope
Two-channel voltage level meter and third octave analyzer
With a calibrated microphone, ARTA can be used as a virtual IEC class 1 SPL meter with real time modes:
Integrating SPL meter with 24 hours data logging,
Octave SPL meter with noise rating (NR, NC, PNC, RC,NCB),
Third octave SPL meter with report of specific loudness, loudness in sones and loudness level in phones.
ARTA is also a powerful analyzer of:
Gated frequency response,
Smoothed frequency response (in 1/n-octave bands), Step response,
Impulse response envelope (ETC – curve),
Cumulative spectral decay waterfall graphs and sonogram,
Editors for the BOSS GT-1, 3, 5, 6, 8, Pro, 10, 100, 001 Guitar Multi-Effects Processors, and the BOSS GT-6B,10B Bass Multi-Effects Processors; and for the Katana modelling amplifier. This software can edit patches via midi on the BOSS Multi-Effects / Amp Processor.

Save your valuable GT data, system and custom settings to file.
Patch text view of all your patch settings, and print or save text list to file.
Edit a single effect setting for groups of User patches in one operation.
LMS is an open source multi-room audio system. It was created by SlimDevices and then acquired by Logitech. Although Logitech has ended development of hardware devices, the project is still very active with lots of plugin released regularly. New hardware players can be added using PI devices and DAC boards to build high-quality multi-room systems.
I’ve created some extra plugins, especially to include new standard hardware / players to the LMS ecosystem: UPnP/DLNA (Sonos), ChromeCast and AirPlay.
