Wave Lens ~ Scan Audio To Find Artifacts & Defects

This application can be used to find artifacts in audio files generated by signal processors. It analyses the signal variance across the audio duration, then generates a graph of the results.

The following types of audio can analysed:
* Music
* Sine Tones
* Noise (White, Pink, etc)

If the audio recording is split across multiple files, they can be loaded into this application collectively and will be treated as a single stream. Multiple batches can also be loaded, in order to process multiple recordings in one continuous operation. The scanners can only process audio files up to 2.5GB, but the file splitter function can be used to break up large files into smaller ones.

PGGB•IT! Batch Resampling ~ Crippleware Folder Resampler

PGGB•IT! is a Windows application for PGGB batch resampling of album folders using the Windows Explorer library as a queue. The companion FOLDER-DROP! allows folders to be included in the library using Explorer’s drag-drop. Generate resampled tracks (in FLAC, WAV or WV format) for use in a compatible music player. PGGB•IT! has a comprehensive settings panel and visually rich console output. Use the standard PGGB Offline (MATLAB) or use PGGB-RT (Intel IPP/AVX) to accelerate resampling to only a minute per average track. A free license of PGGB-RT has no feature limits at up to 2 Million Taps. A full functionality license gets you up to 1 Billion Taps.

LASTAR ~ Batch File Splitting & Normalization

LASTAR is a batch (non-interactive) audio processor for loudness adjustment and file splitting of a batch of audio recordings, using an audio transparent maximizer.

At the opposite of usual available software, loudness normalization is done on signal power, which leads to a louder and more homogeneous result than the usual “peak” normalization, in particular on live recordings.

Its purpose is:

  • to split, equalize and normalize digitized analog tapes or vinyl
  • to split, equalize and normalize live recordings from microphones (ex ZOOM H2 recordings)
  • fast and homogeneous normalization of a group of files (compilation for instance)
  • loudness and dynamic reduction for listening in a noisy environment (car…)
  • and so on…

This software aims to be very fast and easy to use : the most efficient computing techniques have been implemented, and there are very few parameters to set (most of them are automatically adjusted by analyzing the file).

It embeds:
