CD-Text is an extension of the audio CD standard that allows you to store additional information on an audio CD, such as album name, album artist and track info. Many audio players like Winamp and RealPlayer can read CD-Text but Windows Media Player has never supported it. Until now, because the WMPCDText plug-in allows Windows Media Player to read CD-Text.
WMPCDText provides an option to automatically read CD-Text from unrecognized audio CDs. Alternatively, you can right-click on a CD track in Windows Media Player’s Now Playing mode while a CD is playing, and select Read CD-Text.
WMPCDText especially comes in handy when using Windows Media Player for playing home-made audio CDs. Before WMPCDText, you would have to insert all the track information of such a CD manually into Windows Media Player. Now, just make sure that the CD-Text information is burned onto the CD, play the burned CD with Windows Media Player, and WMPCDText will automatically read the track information from the CD itself and insert it into the Media Library.
Benihora is a Rust library and VST Plugin that generates voice based on a vocal tract model. This is a Rust port of Pink Trombone developed by Neil Thapen with some customizations.
A plugin to use BruteFIR software convolution engine with Slim DevicesSqueezeCenter clients for Digital Room Correction. Provides transparent automatic switching of filters for different sample rates. Filter creation can be done with DRC, Audiolense, Acourate or other DRC software.
An optional loudness correction using the digital volume control can be applied. The loudness features uses SoX loudness that is based on the ISO 226 curves.
Features:
On the fly digital room correction for LogitechMediaServer (formerly SqueezeBoxServer)
Automatic selection of filter for samplerate
Loudness correction via digial volume control using ISO 226
Resampling of filter for samplerate if none exists
Gapless playback
removal of silence in music
Application of ReplayGain with and without loss of bit depth/resolution
DISTRHO Ildaeil is mini-plugin host working as a plugin, allowing one-to-one plugin format reusage. The idea is to load it as a plugin inside your DAW and then the other “real” plugin inside Ildaeil. This allows, for example, a VST3 host to load LV2 plugins and vice-versa.
The Ildaeil name comes from the korean 일대일, which means “one to one”.
Features:
The current formats Ildaeil can work as are:
JACK/Standalone
CLAP
LV2
VST2
VST3
And it can load the following plugin formats:
Internal (from Carla)
LADSPA
DSSI
LV2
VST2
VST3
CLAP
JSFX
With a few extra formats through the “Load from file…” action:
Audio files (through internal audio file player, synced to transport)
MIDI files (through internal MIDI file player, synced to transport)
CrossOver is a plugin to split an incoming signal into several (at most 4) frequency ranges. It can be used to build your own multiband effects within a modular (sub)host environment. By using only 2 bands, you can also create bass-effects. These are effects which keep the low frequency range dry and affect only the high frequency range. The band-splitting is done by complementary pairs of Linkwitz-Riley lowpass/highpass filters, the slope of which is adjustable between 12 and 96 dB/oct. For configurations with more than 2 output bands, the signal is first split into 2 bands (low and high) and then the low or high or both bands is/are split further, thus the splitting is done in a hierarchical manner.
Correlometer is an analog-style stereo multi-band correlation meter.
Multi-band correlation meter is an advanced way to check for presence of out-of-phase elements in the mix. Broadband correlation metering reports overall phase issues and may misrepresent problems present in select spectral bands, while multi-band correlation meter easily highlights problems present in mid to high frequencies that are not easily heard by ear, but may still reduce clarity of the mix. Another application of multi-band correlation metering is phase- and time-aligning of channels and tracks, especially bass and bass-drum pairs, guitar mic and D.I. source pairs, two-microphone stereo recordings, etc.
Correlometer can display 4 to 64 individual spectral bands, with adjustable band quality factor that controls the degree of band’s selectivity. Averaging time of correlation estimator can be adjusted. Correlometer supports side-chain inputs for easy correlation estimation between separate audio tracks.
MonoChannel is a EQ and VU meter with basic console channel controls.
Insert MonoChannel on your audio tracks to monitor your audio signal and adjust its tonal balance. It is designed only to encourage the use of proper gain staging and audio balance workflows in digital audio. MonoChannel is NOT a distortion/saturation/console emulation plugin.
MAnalyzer is an advanced spectral analyzer and sonogram plugin containing unique features such as smoothing, normalization, super-resolution, prefiltering and deharmonization. The included meters provide a peak meter and EBU R128 and ITU-R BS 1770-3 compliant loudness meter.
MJUC jr. is the little brother of the colorful MJUC.
It’s a variable-mu design with lots of vibe, capable of smooth leveling but also heavy pumping effects. With its two gain stages and interstage transformer simulation it offers a very deep and lively soundstage.
The three-position timing switch not only controls the attack and release times of the unit, but also the slew rate of the transformers and the timing of the other parts of the circuitry, that are directly influencing the generated harmonics (saturation).
Aqualizer, a computer program that can be used in order to filter sound. In fact it is a digital equalizer. However, it is an equalizer for connoisseurs, so to say, as we researched how we could improve the existing equalizer to fit the needs of DJ’s and sound designers even better.
